Dushanbe, Tajikistan, March 14–17, 2011 – The U.S. Government, through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Quality Health Care Project, conducted human resource management training sessions for nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) that work to prevent the spread of HIV among vulnerable populations. The Quality Health Care Project, funded by USAID, conducted the training part of its five-year program to strengthen public health systems in Central Asia and to improve the health of the region’s population.

Climate Risk Management in Tajikistan
PRESS RELEASE

Dushanbe, 18 March, 2011. The United Nations Development Program in Tajikistan with a support from the Bureau for Crisis Prevention and Recovery (BCPR) launched its Climate Risk Management Project (CRM) in Tajikistan, a multi- country initiative that is to be implemented in all five Central- Asian countries. The Inception Workshop to present the Project to the wide range of stakeholders took place in the Conference Hall of the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Dushanbe.
